Felt at home as soon as we walked in, our server Francisco (my tocayo) was the best very informative and attentive the food was great the margaritas sampler were a little too sweet but not bad Luis the manager you can tell cares about their customers and the restaurant I highly recommend it wish I could afford to go more often but will definitely be going back.
Enjoyed dining for happy hour! The happy hour menu is extensive. Highly recommend trying the chipotle ribs with fries. The queso wasn’t that great. You could barely taste the chorizo. The margarita flight is a great mix.
The food was amazing and the service was absolutely great our waitress Lilly. I had the rack of lamb and it was finger licking good. Lilly recommended the butter cake let me tell I doubly recommend.
This place is awesome! I got the veggie burrito which was excellent and huge. The waiters were very kind and attentive. Loved the experience of this place and the food.

I arrived hungry and it was absolutely worth it! After spending all day at Anime Expo nearby, I needed some fuel to get me through the rest of the day and Sol Agave hit all the marks. I arrived right before Happy Hour and ordered a flight of margaritas, chile verde flautas, pork belly and a mixed ceviche. Everything was super delicious, the drinks were super tasty, not too sweet or too strong. Our server was very attentive and super friendly. It was a nice vibe as we sat near the bar at a table, plenty of entertainment around to keep us preoccupied. I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm glad I left super satisfied and fulfilled! Would definitely recommend.
My boyfriend and I decided to try out a new restaurant in Santa Monica. We randomly found Sol Agave and based of the pictures we liked it so we decided to give it a try. They serve you chips, salsa and refried beans while you're waiting, as soon as I tried the refried beans I knew the food was gonna be fire . We also ordered the guacamole sampler and it was really good . Last but not least we ordered lobster enchiladas. The enchiladas didn't disappoint, they serve you 2 huge enchiladas, the cream sauce, the lobster and the white rice were amazing but what I most loved about the enchiladas was the tortillas they made it with . The service was really amazing, our waiter Rodrigo was extremely nice and friendly. The music was good and we also got to see the soccer game!! In general we had a nice experience at sol agave, we will definitely go back .
Really enjoyed our trip to Sol Agave. We were staying in LA live so this restaurant was about 2 mins from our hotel. We were able to make reservations through Yelp and had no problem being seated immediately. Really nice establishment with music playing and outdoor seating if wanting to enjoy the weather. The chips, salsa and bean dip were a great starter. We did margaritas, shrimp taquitos, chicken tinga tacos and the tacos de hongo. The shrimp taquitos were amazing! My son really enjoyed his tacos de hongo as the steak was cooked perfectly. My crispy chicken tinga tacos were a bit dry so didn't eat much but they had good flavor, other than being dry. House margaritas were fresh and our server did a great job! A little pricey but it is LA so expected.
I had a great time and meal at Sol Agave! On this visit, I enjoyed the shrimp taquitos, which were excellent. I might have. The drinks are also excellent here the margaritas and their variety of tequilas. This location is right at the LA live near the convention center. I would highly recommend this restaurant.!
